The Town of Rangely, Colorado, has some positive water news: the flow of the White River has increased. The Town recently had to move to Stage 3 Water Restrictions so any positive water news is worth celebrating, including the increase of the White River to around 42 cubic feet per second. “After the extremely low flows we have experienced this summer, every increase is welcome news,” shares the announcement. “This drought has been an important reminder of just how precious our water resources are and how quickly conditions can change. While we are thankful for the improvement, drought conditions remain, and continued conservation is important and necessary. [The Town of Rangely] will remain at Stage 3 Water Restrictions.” The announcement expressed gratitude for all in helping ensure water continues to flow and for the cooperation and conservation efforts that are being made.
