Three men have been charged in an alleged incident of roping, riding, and dragging a cow moose in southwestern Wyoming. Videos and pictures from the events were captured on video in 2021 and are the basis of the summons to bring the three men to Evanston Circuit Court to answer for the charges. Justin Martin and Range Martin of Evanston and Kylan Platt of Malad City, Idaho are ordered to appear in court on January 15th. The charge of Felony Cruelty To Animals carries the potential of prison time and a fine of up to $5000 while the charge of taking of a big game animal carries the potential of one year in prison and a $10,000 fine. The events in 2021 took place on M. Arrow Ranch in Uinta County, Wyoming.
