A special exhibit is opening tomorrow at the Duchesne Branch Library in celebration of America’s 250th anniversary this year. ‘The Pen Is Mightier: Writing a Revolution’ free traveling exhibit will be on display from March 10th to May 3rd. “We are thrilled to bring this exhibit to our community,” says Lori Ann Potter, manager at the Duchesne Branch Library. “May this exhibit inspire us to action as we strive to build a just, kind, and flourishing future for our nation and world.” Nicole Handy, executive director of America250 Utah, says, “This exhibition is a powerful reminder that communication can turn ideas into action. The same can be said of our founders in their fight for democracy, which is what inspired this showcase of pivotal American moments — showing how messages became movements and sparked lasting change.” The Duchesne Branch Library is excited to welcome visitors of all ages to enjoy the exhibit.
