There are many moving parts when putting on a play and plenty of unpredictable things can happen. Add in a global pandemic and it’s quite a miracle that any production gets off the ground. Bad luck and bad timing meant one of the characters in Vernal Theatre: LIVE’s production of ‘The Curious Savage’ would miss the entire run of the show due to being in quarantine. Thankfully, the show has been able to go on as Director McKenzie Johnstun has stepped in to fill the role and while she and the entire cast miss their fellow actor, the audience has been none the wiser.
