Team Uintah is recognizing the Uintah County Sheriff’s Office for their support of local education. “One of the most important elements to public education is the need for our children to be safe at school,” shares Team Uintah. “Sheriff Norton has kept our schools a priority throughout his career. The Uintah County Sheriff’s department has had a consistent presence in our schools from short ‘drop-ins’ and walk through of our schools to more in depth work of our School Resource Officers.” Detective Turnbow is also given credit for his positive influence at the high school as well as many other officers that work in classrooms as guest speakers and trainers. Thanks to the Uintah County Sheriff’s Office for making local schools a safe place for our children.
