The Uintah School District is continuing its weekly tradition of recognizing a local entity for their support of local education. Team Uintah has now recognized Showalter Ford, stating that for more than 80 years, the Showalter family has been a strong supporter of the Uintah School District and Uintah County schoolchildren. The Showalter Agency recognizes teachers every year in the district through the Excellence in Teaching Award. Gary Showalter was honored in 2015 as one of Uintah High School’s Distinguished Alumni. Matt Showalter says the Showalter family is proud to partner with the school district and help with all efforts to improve schools. The Uintah School District started the Team Uintah mission to emphasize that the entire community must be united in a common effort to educate children. Thanks to Showalter Ford and other community entities, that mission is closer to being accomplished.
