Law enforcement agencies are recruiting the help of the public more and more often because it often results in the tips needed to keep an investigation going. The Sweetwater County Sheriff’s Office is requesting the public’s help in identifying a vehicle from a recent hit-and-run case that took place north of Rock Springs. The surveillance photos are shared on the Sweetwater County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page and with this news story on BasinNow.com. The images are of a white four door passenger car. Those with tips are asked to call 307-466-3167. Any tips from the public will be handled with discretion.
