Students from Discovery Elementary are accomplishing amazing things. The Office of Education of the Spanish Government organized a ‘Cuentista’ writing contest or storyteller contest and the fourth graders in the Dual Language Immersion program at Discovery Elementary decided to participate. Six students were selected as finalists and three were selected as winners for their outstanding Spanish language stories. The finalists were Samantha Evershed, Alexander Morales, Sofia Jurado, Vera Robles-Caballero, Hayden Petersen and Cache Christensen. The winners were Charlee Harris in first place, Arabelle Bradley in second place, and Mac Jamison in third place.
