Student Scientists Represent Well At State Science Fair

Last month, USU held its Utah State University Uintah Basin Science Fair with a group of middle school students that moved on to the State Science Fair. That event took place at Weber State University this week with great results. David Pierce received the NOAA 2023 ‘Taking Pulse of the Planet’ Award. 7 students placed in the top 10 percent of all the projects. Alexis Anderson received Honorable Mention in Environmental Sciences.  Angela Jolley received 2nd Place in Zoology. Rowan Deletant received 3rd in Botany. Aaden Owens, Braxton O’Crowley and Kyle Hunter received 2nd in Transportation.  David Pierce received 2nd Place in Environmental Science and Quinn Bigler received 2nd in Social and Behavioral Sciences. Congratulations to these outstanding student scientists!
