Construction is ongoing on Highway 40 for the Strawberry Valley construction project and pilot car operations have begun. UDOT wants the public to know that as early as Tuesday, June 25th, there will be a two-lane configuration between Mile Post 48 and 52 as well as ongoing shoulder work from Mile Post 40 to 45. Wide and heavy loads are restricted in the work zones and construction activities run daily
Monday through Friday
. “Please plan ahead for construction delays and allow travel time,” shares UDOT. “Please use alternate routes when possible. Drive safely and be aware of construction activities and workers near driving lanes.”
