Stolen Car Recovered

A vehicle stolen and listed on the National Crime Information Center was recovered in Duchesne County thanks to the observation and action of a Duchesne County Sheriff’s Deputy. According to the Duchesne County Sheriff’s Office, Deputy B. Shaw observed a black Ford Mustang matching the description of an Earlier Attempt to Locate vehicle on March 8th at approximately 8:00am. The vehicle had evaded Roosevelt Police and other law agency’s the previous night. The vehicle was traveling onto East River Road near Duchesne when the male driver pulled over and opened the hood. Deputy Shaw called backup and made contact with the suspects. The driver was identified as 27-year-old Tino Cesspooch of Roosevelt and the female passenger was identified as 26-year-old Chelsea Lenhart of Ft. Duchesne. A search of the vehicle uncovered multiple illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia. Cesspooch and Lenhart were arrested. Cesspooch was booked on possession of a stolen vehicle, possession of a dangerous weapon, possession of controlled substance and paraphernalia, using license plates registered to another vehicle and possession of another’s identification. Lenhart was booked for possession of a dangerous weapon by a restricted person, possession of drug paraphernalia, and knowingly producing, dispensing, or manufacturing a controlled substance.
