The Governor’s Office of Management and Budget released Utah’s consensus revenue numbers on Friday in cooperation with the legislature. “The revised revenue numbers released today show how a vibrant, growing and well-diversified economy is the best way to support our funding priorities,” shares Governor Gary Herbert. “I look forward to working with the legislature to assure that the majority of our surplus goes to supporting student learning and achievement.” The revenue numbers show a total of $375 million dollars for additional ongoing appropriations, $88 million dollars higher than the December estimates. There is also $13 million dollars available for one-time appropriations which is $12 million dollars higher than December’s estimates.
