Starvation State Park Asks All to Support Zero Tolerance for Vandalism

Another Uintah Basin recreation authority is calling out vandals and asking locals to respect facilities. Starvation State Park has shared photos online of shot up buildings and signs. The park originally warned that if the vandalism continues, they will have to start closing off portions of the park including Knight Hollow, Juniper Point, and Indian Bay. Later the park clarified that all areas will remain open but restrooms and signs are required in areas occupied by visitors and if facilities or signs need repaired or replaced then temporary closures are unavoidable. “Our goal is to keep our devoted visitors informed, protect all resources, and provide the best recreational experience,” shares Starvation State Park. “We ask everybody to continue with support, suggestions, and maintaining a zero tolerance for vandalism.”
