Still in the mood to do some ice fishing? Then plan on joining DNR at Starvation State Park for the Starvation Ice Derby
on February 9th.
The tournament will have a walleye and trout category with only the first 200 people allowed to compete. Registration will be
at 6:30am
, while the event will
start at 7:30am
and go
until 12:30pm
. To enter the contest it will cost $15 for adults and $10 for those 15 and under to enter one category. It will cost an additional $10 to be in both categories. Be aware that state park entry fees are applicable with Utah State Parks annual pass being accepted. Also be sure to bring a current Utah Fishing license and obey Utah fishing laws. There is $1000 total in prizes to be won with an additional prize drawing
at 12:45
before winners are announced.
