The new SNOTEL report shows a slight move in the right direction. Utah’s snowpack as of March 13th is at 88 percent as a state average. The Northeastern Uintahs are at 97 percent of normal, the Duchesne River Basin is 96 percent, and Price-San Rafael is at 91 percent. With the new data, National Weather Service stated that while they did observe a positive change with the recent storm cycle, there is still a long way to go, especially for the northern basins, with 21 days till median peak amounts.
