Years of construction and projects wrapped up this month as Vernal officially welcomed United Airlines, operating through SkyWest Airlines, to the Vernal Regional Airport on Tuesday. Local officials and airport staff and management bid Boutique Air farewell on Monday before their final flight, expressing their appreciation for all Boutique Air has done to serve the Vernal area for the past two and a half years. With SkyWest in operation, a Grand Reopening celebration has been planned for Monday, July 2nd, from 4 to 6pm. The event will take place next door to the Vernal Regional Airport terminal at the airport operations building.
