Vernal is among the known stops a missing woman made during the last week of January and the public is asked to share any tips or leads in the case. The Silver Alert was issued for 69-year-old DeEtte Spencer who was last seen at Walmart in Price on January 26th. Officials shared that on January 24th, surveillance photos show that DeEtte was in Vernal before heading to Colorado. It was believed after leaving Walmart in Price, her plan was to head back home to Escalante in southern Utah’s Garfield County. She was traveling in a cream colored Buick Lucerne car.
