A fire in Uintah County resulted in the total loss of one structure. According to Uintah
County Fire Marshal Jeremy Raymond, the fire occurred Thursday afternoon. Vernal Fire
Department responded to the call at 3000 North Vernal Avenue and quickly contained the
blaze. The fire destroyed 1 shed and damaged two others. As of Thursday afternoon, the
cause was unknown and there were no injuries, shares Raymond. An estimate of damages
was not available but the owner reported that there was a collection in the shed that
included record players and jukeboxes.
