What’s your big idea? The 6th Annual Rise and Thrive Business Speed-Pitch Competition in Uintah County is the place to give that big idea a shot but the application deadline is just a few weeks away. The competition focuses on the ability to deliver a pitch that attempts to persuade the judges of a new product or service. Participants are able to present their idea, marketing strategy, and plans and the pitches are considered by a panel of judges. Uintah County Economic Development Director Travis Campbell says it is always exciting to see the ideas presented each year. “We never know what to expect, who is going to apply, or who is going to win,” shares Campbell. “We’ve had such a variety of winners from year to year.” The application deadline is February 22nd.
