A serious accident on Highway 40 in Vernal on Thursday resulted in injuries but thankfully only minor ones. According to the report from Vernal PD, on April 14th, Vernal Police Officers responded to a vehicle accident at 500 East Main Street. “One of the vehicles was reported to be on its side in the intersection. Upon arrival it was determined that an Eastbound vehicle collided with a Westbound vehicle which was in the act of making a left turn. The accident resulted in apparent minor injuries with one individual being transported to the local Emergency Room.” The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
