Seniors Committed To Profession In Education Recognized

Uintah High students in Mrs. Watkins’ ‘Teaching as a Profession’ class were recognized during a Signing Day event last week. ‘Teaching as a Profession’ or TAP is a Career and Technical Education pathway that is designed to introduce students to the role and positive influence of effective educators and prepares them for college-level work in education programs. “Valeria Preigo, Lydia Mathis, Joshua Garcia, Zayn Freitas, and Kaydee Cox ceremonially signed a commitment to pursue careers in education after high school,” shares the announcement. “They each received a stole they can wear with their graduation regalia.”
