Two schools in Duchesne County School District were placed on temporary lockdown as police dealt with an incident. The District shared the following information about the incident: At approximately 10 a.m. on Monday, September 14th, Myton Elementary and ConAmore schools were placed on temporary lockdown as police worked to apprehend a fugitive nearby. The Bureau of Indian Affairs and the Duchesne County Sheriff’s Office created a one-block perimeter around the suspect’s location, which included both schools. The lockdown lasted approximately 20 minutes. No students were in danger at any time.
