Scammers are everywhere and always on the hunt for new ways to get your hard earned money so it’s no surprise that new scams pop up on a regular basis. The Sweetwater County Sheriff’s Office has a straight forward warning: There’s no such thing as a ‘Trump DOGE Stimulus Check’. “Scammers are already flooding inboxes and social media with fake claims about so-called Trump DOGE stimulus checks,” shares the Sheriff’s Office. “These posts are 100% bogus and designed to trick you into handing over personal information. Don’t click. Don’t reply. Don’t share. There is no official government program offering DOGE stimulus checks, Dogecoin, or any cryptocurrency-based dividend payments.” If you get a message, email, or social media post about a DOGE stimulus check, just delete it!
