The Rotary Club of Vernal has many wonderful events that they have brought to the area for the benefit of the community. During the holiday season the Rotary Club’s main benefit event is the Angel Tree tags. The tree tags list items for children in need from the community. The trees are located in Walmart and David Food and Drug. Today is the due date to drop off any presents that were purchased at Davis Food and Drug. For those that took a tag and can’t fulfill it, aren’t able to shop, or simply want to help but do not have the time, the Rotary Club has a Venmo account. Individuals can donate and the funds will be used to fill the tags. Vernal Rotary Club shared this message: “We are so grateful for all of the Community Support we have received this year. 2020 has been hard and there are so many families needing assistance. We could not do this project without you.”
