Rural Economic Development Community Arts Grant Program Now Available

Thanks to a Rural Economic Development Community Arts Grant, Uintah County is ready to help fund community art projects. Applications are being accepted and need to explain how the project will engage the community and the economic impact it could have. Questions that will be asked include: Will the project support the artists in our community and draw community members to the area? Will this project for the arts impact the economy and the downtown area in Uintah County? Did the applicant give measurable examples? Some details to note: Grant requests can not exceed $10,000; The grant period funds through March 31st; 50% of grant funds requested will be paid out upon approval of the grant; The final 50% of funds will be paid once the project is complete; And 100% of funding must be spent by June 1st.
