Rotary Club is their name and community service is their aim. Whether it’s delivering dictionaries to local 3rd graders or heading the massive Santa’s Community Effort each holiday season, the volunteers of the Vernal Rotary Club happily give of their time and energy to make the community a better place. The cost of what they accomplish each year, however, does add up so the group hosts an annual fundraiser Casino Night. “The Rotary Casino Night is the major fundraiser for the Vernal Rotary Club,” shares Rotary member Brian Gorum. “All of the money raised is put back into the community [through] worthwhile local projects that Rotary has sponsored. You’re not going to win a million bucks, but you also won’t lose your house! You will just have a great time playing fun games with friends that want to support Rotary.” This year’s Casino Night is happening
