Construction continues on the Roosevelt City State Street and maintenance project. The intersection of State Street and 800 South is closed
through Saturday afternoon
. Traffic will need to use alternate routes to access homes during this time. Last week, crews were flushing streets that have been chipped throughout the city. The entire project includes widening State Street to accommodate sidewalks on both sides and improvements to the storm drainage system. Residents in the area have had to use alternate routes to bypass construction but progress has been ongoing.
