Roosevelt Ranks High on List of Affordable Places to Live in Utah

The rankings are in and Roosevelt City is sitting nicely as one of the most affordable places to live in Utah. The rankings come from financial technology company SmartAsset and are based on an Affordability Index that weighs property taxes, homeowners’ insurance fees, and mortgage payments relative to income. Roosevelt is listed as number 9 out of over 250 towns. The average annual mortgage payment for Roosevelt is $8,190 dollars with an average income of $62,351 dollars. The City of Roy topped the list followed by Clinton, Plain City, Kearns, Stansbury Park, Enoch, North Ogden and Magna before hitting Roosevelt at number 9. “We have ranked in the top 10 for the past 3 years,” shares Roosevelt City Manager Ryan Snow.
