A local was recognized at the 2025 Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) Utah Conference and Awards luncheon on June 11th in Salt Lake City. Roosevelt Police Sergeant Morant A. Harrison received the 2025 CIT Officer of the Year award for the State of Utah in June. “Sergeant Harrison was nominated by his peers for his compassionate and professional work with those in crisis throughout the community,” shares the announcement from Roosevelt City Police Department. “Sergeant Harrison was honored to receive this award and is grateful for his experience with the CIT community. We would like to congratulate him on this accomplishment and are proud to have him serving our community.”
