A Duchesne County man was arrested this week for allegedly possessing and distributing child pornography. According to the Affidavit of Probable Cause, the Electronic Service Provider KIK reported to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that a user had uploaded files containing depictions of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) to an account in October of 2024. The information was initially referred to Roosevelt Police Department before being reassigned to the Duchesne County Sheriff’s Office for investigation in May 2025. The victims ranged in age from infants to teenagers. There was a total of 262 items from the KIK account that had been sent by Wyatt Hamilton, including images of himself that confirmed his identity, and there was a total of 150 images of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM). On November 11th, a warrant was served on Wyatt Hamilton’s Roosevelt apartment while he was home. Wyatt was transported to the Duchesne County Jail. He admitted to having KIK and other accounts and verified and confirmed that all the emails located were his emails but denied knowing what CSAM was. Later in the interview he admitted to having and sending Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) but claimed it was only a few times. 30-year-old Wyatt Casey Hamilton was arrested for the offenses of 25 counts of 1st Degree Felony Aggravated Sexual Exploitation of a Minor, 25 counts of 2nd Degree Felony Sexual Exploitation of a Minor, as well as drug and weapon charges.
