Roosevelt City is wrapping up two big construction projects this week. 800 South has been an ongoing construction project involving new utility lines, storm drains, sidewalk, curb and gutter, and asphalt. “The utility portion of the project will be completed this week,” shares the Roosevelt Bulletin. “New water and sewer lines have been installed, and the storm drainage is complete. Crews are currently at work installing meters and extending a fire hydrant line. This will mark the end of the utility work after which other phases of the project will commence.” A second project wrapping up is the sidewalk at East Elementary School. The project included the installation of four ADA(Americans With Disabilities Act) ramps and transition curbing. Fencing needs reinstalled and then project clean up remains.
