Roosevelt City shared this week that BHI has finished all of the water line work associated with the streets project and will now shift focus to the road reconstruction. “The tentative schedule for the next couple of weeks will be to prepare 100 South, 200 West, 1000 West and Bonnie Drive for asphalt,” shares the announcement. “This will include many different types of heavy equipment and trucks that will be coming and going to accomplish the work. For this reason each road will be closed at different times to accommodate the equipment and work.” Roosevelt City hopes to have asphalt back on the roads around October 15th. “This is a big effort in the next couple of weeks and it will mean some disruptions in individuals’ abilities to get to their driveway at times.” Roosevelt City thanks everyone for their patience as they start wrapping this project up.
