Roosevelt City is very concerned with the way some members of the community have been treating the new trees that were planted around the walking path at Constitution Park. Of the 100 new trees, two of the saplings have already been snapped in half. The city reminds the public that it has taken the last two months for members of the Roosevelt Rotary Club and Strata Networks to get all those trees planted. As a city they are appreciative of the hours and money the volunteers put in to add such beauty to the park. As a community it is important to work together to protect and respect such sacrifices. The city asks that residents and guests to the park do not climb on, pull on or otherwise tamper with the new saplings and if you witness someone doing such deeds to contact either the Roosevelt Police Department at
435-722-2330
or Central Dispatch at
435-722-4558
