Roosevelt City has posted the preliminary results for the Primary Election held on Tuesday. A total of 713 ballots were counted to determine the top six candidates for Roosevelt City Council that will be included on the ballot for the General Election on November 5th. The preliminary count showed the top six to be Don Busenbark with 401 votes, Cody Aland with 332 votes, Aaron Weight with 325 votes, Rebecca Pittman with 278 votes, Vince Reiley with 260 votes, and Joe Burdick with 256 votes. Canvassing will take place at the Roosevelt City Council meeting on Tuesday, August 20th. Roosevelt City expects more mail in ballots to arrive over the next few days. Final Primary Election results will be released after the August 20th canvassing.
