Roosevelt City Mayor JR Bird shed light last week on the misinformation circulating about the investigation at the Roosevelt Animal Shelter. First, Mayor Bird explained that the current investigation was necessary to determine if the relationship between the shelter and a local rescue violated Utah State Code and what corrections may need to be made moving forward. Bird made clear that any rumor of the Shelter being shut down is completely untrue. Mayor Bird also went into detail on other rumors and misinformation being shared.
