To say it is hot outside might be too obvious. However, record breaking temperatures are not stopping the service minded. Recently, Roosevelt City gave a shout out to the Thompsen House of Hope and the Roosevelt Rotary Club for service they provided. These volunteers went to Constitution Park to help clear, pull, and clean weeds around the trees at the walking path. While there they did some welding on the Constitution and National Anthem signs that border the path to make them more sturdy, as the wind has knocked them down before. “We are so grateful for the wonderful members of our community who are so willing to pitch in and help out,” shared Roosevelt City. “We appreciate them for the service they provided.”
