Roosevelt City Fire Department Celebrating 100 Years with New Truck

Exciting things are happening at the Roosevelt City Fire Department. After a long wait, the new fire truck is expected to arrive in Roosevelt City this week. Roosevelt City was awarded a $430,000 dollar grant last year from the CIB to be added to the City’s $100,000 dollars reserved for the new fire truck. The new truck will replace the truck the city has had for 29 years. On behalf of Roosevelt City, City Manager Ryan Snow has thanked the CIB and especially Duchesne County Commissioner Ron Winterton and Uintah County Commissioner Mike McKee for their help in securing the funds. Roosevelt City Fire Department is also celebrating its 100 year anniversary making for additional excitement as the new fire truck is anticipated to arrive
