Roosevelt Aquatic Center Meeting Community Needs

After a successful first summer, the Roosevelt Aquatic Center remains a staple for local family fun in the Roosevelt community. According to Aquatic Center Director Edwin Butterfield, summer numbers were high and this fall attendance has naturally slowed down but is still great for during the school year. “Now we are looking at things to further plan for the future,” shares Butterfield. “I love working with the public and seeing them happy, having somewhere to go for exercise and family time that is indoors. It has been a critical need in the community.” Special fall events begin this week with additional swim times during Fall Break as well as spooky Halloween activities coming up later this month.
