Dinosaur National Monument is sharing a heads up on road construction projects underway on and around the Monument. Work has begun on the Green River and Quarry Access Roads from the Utah SR-149 boundary to the Quarry Exhibit Hall. Visitors can expect speed limits reduced to 25 mph in work zones, flaggers on-site during work hours, and possible delays of up to 30 minutes. “This $11.2 million dollar project includes upgrades to roads, parking areas, overlooks, drainage structures, and cattle guards,” shares the announcement. The project runs through November 25th. Monument officials also want to remind all that the Quarry Exhibit Hall at Dinosaur National Monument will be temporarily closed from September 8th through late October 2025 due to scheduled renovations and improvements to the parking lot, road and sidewalks.
