Several Forest Service Roads are closed near the Little Horse Fire. The Duchesne County Sheriff’s Office announced on Wednesday that Forest Service Road #10179, #10090, and #10097 are closed until further notice. The closure also includes Horse Ridge Road North at Reservation Ridge and Avintaquin Road South of Camelot. “These closures are necessary to ensure the safety of the public, emergency personnel, and firefighting resources operating in the area,” shares Duchesne County Sheriff Travis Tucker. “Motorists and recreational users are asked to avoid the area and obey all posted road closure signs and directions from law enforcement and fire personnel.” A map of the closed roads accompanies this news story on BasinNow.com and is shared on the Duchesne County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page.
