A busy side road in Naples City will be closed starting today. Naples City shared on their Facebook page that starting Thursday, May 22nd, 2500 South will be closed to through traffic between 500 East and 1500 East for pipeline repairs. 2500 South and 1500 East is the Maverick intersection on Highway 40 in Naples. Local traffic will be able to access the area from the Highway 40 side only. 500 East will be fully closed to traffic so all are urged to plan alternate routes accordingly and drive safely. A construction estimate on the work has not yet been shared.
