Rise in Car Burglaries in Roosevelt City

According to the Roosevelt Police Department there has been a major rise in car burglaries in Roosevelt City. Police Chief Rick Harrison states, “We’re seeing a huge increase in car burglaries, sometimes as many as three in a night. Not break-ins, but we’re seeing a lot of things stolen out of unlocked cars.” The police department is encouraging residents to take precautions. To ensure protection of self and property be sure to ALWAYS lock your car doors, never leave keys inside the vehicle, make sure windows are rolled up and sunroof is closed, remove valuables from vehicle and watch for suspicious activity.
