Sadly, but not surprisingly, the wildfire season seems to be off to an early start. Utah Fire Info announced on Wednesday a new wildfire start in Duchesne County, south of Upalco. The Revola Dugway Fire was estimated at 10 acres at the time of the Utah Fire Info announcement at about 6pm on March 18th. Fire crews were on scene and structures were reported as threatened but no evacuations had been announced. The cause remains under investigation. This was the second wildfire in Duchesne County within just two days and, so far this year, Utah Fire Info has reported 47 wildfires, 39 of which have positively been identified as human-caused while the rest are undetermined.
