This month’s Utah Field House lecture will include some exciting pre-show events. Author Susan Ewing and researcher Dr. Leif Tapanila are presenting for Thursday’s lecture and will be available beforehand at two signing events for the book Resurrecting the Shark. For years, researchers have been deciphering the Helicoprion, a mysterious creature with a circular jaw full of razor-sharp teeth. It took years of research to put the creature together and combine the information into a book form for bright minds to learn from. One book signing will be held at the Uintah County Library from 4:00 to 5:00pm and then a second book signing will be held at the Utah Field House in Vernal at 6:00pm with the lecture to begin at7:00pm.
