A new charge was recently filed against an alleged repeat DUI offender in Duchesne County. According to the Affidavit of Probable Cause, law enforcement was dispatched on multiple reports of a reckless driver in a newer white Dodge Ram pickup truck who was observed repeatedly driving off the road and displaying inability to maintain one lane travel. The vehicle was located after another report of the Dodge Ram seen off the road. Troopers made contact at a gas station in Fruitland where the vehicle was parked with an occupant seemingly asleep in the driver’s seat. When approached, the man was uncooperative but showed many signs of impairment. Following field testing, the man was taken into custody. 45-year-old Nicholas Duane Glock is charged with 3rd Degree Felony Driving Under the Influence with 2 or more prior convictions in the last 10 years, as well as Open Container in a Vehicle.
