It remains in effect until 9pm today with gusty winds, low relative humidity, and dry fuels for fire weather anticipated. Wind gusts could be up to 45 miles per hour, relative humidity is estimated at 6 to 11 percent, and the warning notes that fires will catch and spread quickly. Always exercise extreme caution with any outdoor burning. A combination of strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can greatly contribute to extreme fire behavior. All are urged to observe fire bans and exercise extra care to prevent wildfires.
