After a rash of reports from residents concerning vehicles being rifled through during the night, Rangely Police Department wants to remind citizens to be smart. Despite the security we might feel being in a small community, there are steps we still need to take to
keep our families, homes, and community safe. Rangely PD asks residents to make sure that they secure their vehicles every night even if it’s parked in their driveway. Remove all valuables including mail before securing the vehicle for the evening. If you have had anything taken from your vehicle and would like to make a report, call your local police department.
