Public Input Sought on Dinosaur Travel Management Plan

The Bureau of Land Management is seeking public input on the development of the Dinosaur Travel Management Plan and Environmental Assessment. According to the BLM, the goal of the plan is to establish a network of roads for travel and transportation including areas for both motorized and non-motorized uses. “Public input is essential to designate a travel system that provides appropriate access to and across public lands for a variety of uses including recreation, hunting, grazing, mineral exploration and energy development,” shares the BLM announcement. Public scoping is the first part of the planning process and comments will be accepted
from April 3rd through May 3rd.
A public meeting will be held at the Daggett County Courthouse in Manila
on April 3rd from 5:30 to 7:30pm
. A second meeting will be held in Vernal at the Uintah County Library
on April 5th from 5:30 to 7:30pm
