Professional Basketball Player to Work with Uintah Girls Basketball

Uintah coaches have secured extra help to work with the girls basketball team this summer. Coach Kristy Putnam shares that Ashlee Trebilcock will be coming to teach at a 2-day camp
on May 30th
and 31st at the high school. Playing for Ohio State, Trebilcock has won four Big Ten Conference Championships, two Big Ten Tournament Championships and four NCAA tournament appearances including a trip to the Sweet 16. She began coaching at Denison University in Ohio and while first assistant at Denison, the team had their first undefeated season and highest national ranking in the team’s history. Trebilcock played professionally for the Smithton Saints Basketball Club in Australia. For the last 13 years, she has trained athletes of all ages and skill levels at clinics throughout the country. The clinic at Uintah High School will include a session for 6 to 8th grades and a session for 9 to 12th grades.
