The littlest learners in Uintah School District will be the first to be taught in the new Central Cove Early Learning Center opening for the 2025-2026 school year. Construction on the new preschool, located on the USU property on Vernal Main Street, is substantially complete and only minor finishing touches are left. The big move from the Central Cove building on Vernal Avenue to the new school is taking place this week. The old building will eventually be demolished and the site cleaned up. Uintah School District plans to retain ownership of that property to use for future projects. The timeline for demolition has not been decided or announced. An Open House and Ribbon Cutting will be held for the new Central Cove Early Learning Center on Monday, August 25th, at 5pm.
